We the Daughters of the Cross of Kolkata Province had a gathering along with the members of the LGBT Community on 7th January.It was a historic event for each one of us as we gathered together on the occasion of the Feast Day of our Beloved Foundress Blessed Marie Therese Haze.
The eminent speakers were invited for this occasion who spoke about the rights of the LGBT and their inclusiveness in the society. Thereafter we had interaction session where they expressed their difficulties and challenges that they come across in their daily lives.
The day was filled with joy and laughter as we interacted with one another. We had also organised few games where every one could take part.We thank Sr. Regina Kottackal, the provincial who made it possible for us to witness such great event.
